Herbplex was formerly known as “Herb Magic” and was the brain-child of Dr. A. Govender (Registered Homeopath and Phytotherapist). Dr. Govender has over 35 years of experience and has treated many patients with great success.
We manufacture a vast and unique range of 100% natural products, both internal and external which are specifically formulated to assist patients with certain medical conditions. I was diagnosed with Cancer at age 35. My youngest of 4 children was only 5 and I was given just 3 months to live unless I underwent chemotherapy and radiation. I chose to take Homeopathic treatment, followed a strict diet and had faith in God. My full recovery motivated me to become a Homeopathic Doctor and to help others.

I studied child and developmental psychology, completed courses in Reiki and phytotherapy.
After the birth of my youngest daughter, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I had so many flare ups which made me gravely ill. I was given a choice between conventional treatment or alternative treatment. I chose my dad’s way of life – Homeopathy and Phytotherapy. With Crohn’s, I noticed that I would have a flare up just before my menstrual cycle and when I entered menopause, I was hospitalised for over-bleeding which did not stop the issue. I then worked closely with my dad and formulated FloEze, Menovitality, Anti-Ageing Range, etc.

From a very early age, I was exposed to Homeopathy and natural products. Inspired by my grandmother’s “magical green-fingers”, her love for plants and her amazing ability to transform any landscape into a peaceful heaven. At 18 I studied phytotherapy as I was intrigued by the medicinal properties of herbs. I have 18 years of both practical and theoretical knowledge.
